Born in Tel Aviv and shaped between Jerusalem and New York, Aya Lam is a visual artist whose practice traces the silent echoes of conflict, memory, and resilience. Moving from dance to sculpture, from body to metal, she forges burned and rusted steel into vessels of intimacy and resistance. Her work invites the viewer into charged spaces, where remnants of war become relics of touch, and stillness speaks of both rupture and repair. Between the weight of history and the fragility of the present, Aya creates spaces that hold tension, invite entry, and refuse forgetting.
